**Overview**
**Duties**
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Implement behaviour management techniques to support clients with diverse needs.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, which may involve heavy lifting.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in patient care, hospice care, or childcare is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with nursing home or home care settings is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate approach combined with patience and understanding is essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £10.35-£13.00 per hour
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: £10.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
Work days:
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Home care: 1 year (required)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
