Compliance Assistant - Job Specification

Edward Thomas is an established and compliant provider of outsourced payroll solutions for recruitment agencies, temporary contractors, and end-user clients. We are PCA accredited, and compliance is our priority. We are looking for an additional member of staff due to company growth. Full training will be provided during the induction period.
- This role is based in Southend-On-Sea
- Working hours are 8.45 - 5.15pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary - £22,000 plus commission

Main Responsibilities
- Managing a pipeline of referrals to complete their compliance files
- Checking and saving right to work documents following the standards of the Home Office
- Issuing contractor employment contracts
- Checking and saving signed contracts
- Importing and amending data on CRM
- Liaising directly with clients
- Managing team outlook inbox
- Updating shared excel sheets
- Managing reports where applicable
- Answering inbound calls - do they?

Must Have
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to work to targets/KPI’s
- Previous experience using outlook and Excel
- Good telephone manner
- Punctual and well-presented
- Able to work as part of a team
