**Sessional Support Worker - Nottinghamshire**

**£13.30 per hour plus £1.61 annual leave payment.**

We are currently seeking a **Support Worker** to join our friendly, supportive team. The role will involve direct work with children, plus support to our foster carers. You will also be involved foster carer events, training and forums. Also, children's transportation, contact visits, social events and activities. Hours may be in the evenings and/or weekends so your flexibility is essential. You will be on a sessional / zero hours contract and your diary will be agreed with management, in advance.

You will be required to travel to carers homes and with children and will reclaim mileage at 45p per mile. You will need to have your own transport and current driving licence.

You will have previous experience in working with children, young people and their families in childcare, social work, social care, counselling, youth work or education settings.

As we are regulated by Ofsted, accurate record keeping is an essential part of the post. Your written work should be good; and your attention to detail.

Training will be given, and you will have supervision meetings with your manager on a monthly basis to aid your development.
