**Job Purpose**:

**Responsible for**:
**Customer Service**:
- Customer account maintenance and coordination
- Management of Key accounts and providing consistency and clarity to these accounts, as required.
- Update and maintain customer information.
- Obtaining Proof of Deliveries
- Handling invoice queries and credit requests for all customers when requested by Sales Team Leader.
- Sending Data sheets and certificates to customers as and when requested.
**Pro-Active Sales**:
- Be proactive in identifying possibilities for new accounts, dependent upon the customer requirements, identifying Customer trends and previous Customer orders.
- Pro-active calling to existing and new customers for UK sales purposes as required. Highlighting any new potential projects to Sales Team Leader and ASM’s and engaging Contractors.
**UK and International Sales**:
- To provide support to the UK and International Sales Administrators.
**Other duties**:
- Price file maintenance
- Supporting the Purchasing team with any highlighted or expected increased sales volumes.
- Supporting the Sales Team Leader with required duties/tasks.
- Supporting Area Sales Managers and Sales Director with enquiries and customer information.
- To provide general administrative support and ad-hoc duties as and when required.
**Person Specification**
**Essential**
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Currently working in a similar role
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) across several communication channels
- Ability to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Quality conscious with a ‘right-first-time’ mentality
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers and internal staff at all times
- Good IT and Excel skills
**Advantageous**
- ITOPS qualification
- Knowledge of export or previous export experience
**Other Information**
- **Hours** - 39 hours per week are: 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 08.30 to 16.00 - Friday, flexibility is essential to meet business needs.
