We are now recruiting to Recovery College Locality Coordinator posts for Medway and Maidstone, following other exciting Team changes.
This vacancy is full time (37.5 hrs/wk) but we may consider a job share for two successful applicants who are both seeking part time roles.

- To co-ordinate Recovery College provision in Medway & Maidstone.

**KEY RESULT AREAS**:
- Quality and compassion in all communications.
- Develop and deliver high quality courses in line with national and local recovery knowledge
- and evidence base.
- Evidence working within the ethos of co-production
- Constructively use own experience to demonstrate working in a recovery focused way
**RESPONSIBILITY**:
- Ensure that a “Duty of Candour” is maintained with Students and Staff at all time.
- To take an active role in the engagement and promotion of the college, including team
- based development sessions.
- To work in partnership with other trainers to co-develop and deliver high quality recovery & self-management related training, to a mixed audience of people who use or work within our services and their supporters
- To deliver health & wellbeing courses in agreed venues in locality.
- To utilise lived experience constructively in the design and delivery of existing and future training
- To contribute to the review of existing courses in light of course feedback and service need
- To develop new training courses in partnership with trainers with professional experience
- To act as a positive role model in promoting lived experience within a recovery and self-management context.
- To attend meetings and conferences as required and representing the Recovery College
- To support students with enrolment, learning and support plans as required
- To support the development of peer trainers co-ordinating their activities and providing supervision
- To keep up to date with national developments in the fields of recovery and self -management and incorporate knowledge within training
- To support the other Recovery College facilitators in related tasks
- Attend and partake in team meetings
- To agree objectives with line manager and ensure that these are met or that barriers to delivery are identified at an early stage
- To provide lived experience and advice in non-training settings agreed with manager
- To establish links with partners and projects that have shared goals both within and external to the organisation
