**The Role**
Senior Accountant - Hybrid Working - Part-Time - All-Rounder - Deputy Finance Manager
This is a chance to be part of a tight-knit finance team which is looking to add another member of staff to its team. The senior accountant will act as a bridge between the finance manager and the rest of the team, and should be able to deputise for the FMif necessary.
This role is preferred on a part-time basis - 3 or 4 days a week. 5 days will be considered.
Some key responsibilities include:

- Working with the management accountant and finance manager to provide accurate financial information
- Management of a new forecasting tool
- Review of management accounts
- Putting into place processes with regard to timetables and systems
- Identifying ways to ensure VFM

**The Person**
Some key traits of the successful senior accountant will be:

- Happy to work with the finance manager and take on varied duties relating to finance
- Be a support to the finance manager and a guide to the management accountant and finance assistants
- Able to work on various projects throughout the working week
- Experienced in running teams and pulling together sets of accounts
- Friendly and organised
