Brook Street UK Ltd is currently seeking a Clerical / Administration Officer within HSCNI for a period of 3 months initially, with the possibility of extension, to join our client's busy Public Sector team.

Our public sector client would like someone with at least one year's experience in Administration, GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.

Duties will include;
Ward Reception desk duties
Complete daily patient discharge reports
Use of computer systems to include data input and retrieval of information to include tracking patient charts in and out of ward
Maintenance of filing systems to include filing of patient notes
Maintaining and updating patient charts
Making up new patient charts
Processing Mail
Ensuring nurse document stand and printer are filled twice daily
Receiving and making phone calls e.g. from relatives/ other wards
Taking and relaying message/information
Notifying GP of patient deaths
Booking transport/ ambulances

A working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, effective communications and organisational skills and the ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team are essential criteria to meet the needs of these roles.

The hours of work are 25 hours per week and can be flexible, 12noon until 5pm ; in return you will be paid an hourly rate of £9.50 per hour, this will be paid on a weekly basis.
