Band 2 Advert - Logistical Administration Assistant Airedale/Wharfedale

Are you able to provide efficient, effective & high-quality administrative support to community nursing teams in Bradford If so, then we would like to meet you.

As a Logistical Administration Assistant, you will be providing high quality admin support to the District Nursing Teams. You’ll be working Monday to Friday supporting District Nursing Teams across a geographical area of Bradford

Responsibilities of the role include the day to day running of the office, ordering clinical/nonclinical equipment and supplies, participating in the maintenance of medical devices, printing & archiving, collection/delivery of equipment to team bases & obtaining patient feedback on behalf of teams.

As part of the wider team, you will participate in team meetings & offer ideas, in ensuring effective teamwork & efficiency.

Logistical support is the corner stone to any team’s ability to provide safe caring responsive effective and well led care to people living in their home environment.

Report to a senior administrator and community team leaders who has responsibility for a Teams of Community Nurses and workers.
Defined community-based team
Bases across Bradford and Airedale
General responsibilities of an administrator
1. Using e-technologies to improve ways of working within the team.
2. Participating in the maintenance of effective office systems, identifying
improvements to improve individual, team and service performance.
3. With direction and instruction to collect information required for statistical
analysis and to collate information for forwarding to the relevant team. To
record and input onto the computer any relevant data as directed.
4. Actively involved in maintaining data quality at all time, ensuring accurate information is recorded on the Patient Administration System
- Assisting in maintaining adequate supplies of stock items within the
Teams.
6. Ensuring the work area is appropriate and fit for purpose
7. Following Trust and departmental policies and procedures for the work
area including HR policies, operating procedures and financial policies.
8. Contributing to the management of service risks and governance.
9. Support project work within the function as identified by the management Team
10. Undertaking duties in line with role banding and level of competence and act as an ambassador for administration services displaying exemplary
role model behaviours
