Stange & Co are an expanding family pub company, with pubs across the Wirral & Wales. We fully appreciate that our pubs are only as good as our teams in them and the support we give them. This support comes from our office based at The Ship in Parkgate, and we are now looking for a well organised and experienced payroll assistant to join our existing accounts team.

You must have a good understanding of the importance of payroll and experience managing payroll for 150+ employees. Some experience of Sage payroll is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

**What we’re looking for**:
An experienced and efficient individual who will be responsible for managing our in-house weekly payroll, working alongside HR to effectively manage sick pay and absences.

**Duties will include, but not be limited to**:

- Weekly payrolls for all pubs, ensuring all employees are paid correctly
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Managing staff attendance, sick pay and absences
- Preparing and posting payroll journal
