**Full-time Support Worker -** Excellent rates of Pay - Rewarding and fulfilling position - Interesting and fun place to work

No two days are the same as a Support Worker. You’ll spend your days empowering adults with learning disabilities to make informed life choices, take part in activities that they love and support them with daily living tasks. It would be great if you’veworked as a Support Worker or Care Assistant previously, but it’s not essential, we’re just looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have a desire to take up a rewarding career in the social care sector.

On offer are excellent rates of pay; you’ll earn a salary of £21,547.50 (£11.05ph), plus you’d usually do 1 sleep-in a week at £70, which takes your earnings to around £25,000, (overtime available if wanted), increased holiday entitlement of 25+8 days, anda great benefits package that includes an employee assistance scheme, sick pay, life assurance and the chance to 'cash in’ 5 days annual leave.

**The Role**

As a Support Worker you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live their lives and take part in activities that are fun and meaningful to them. This may include;
- Enabling people to look after their finances by assisting them with budgeting, monitoring and accessing benefits
- Encourage people to be healthy by assisting them to arrange and attend medical appointments
- Help people to plan, shop and prepare healthy meals of their choosing
- Support people to maintain an active social life, and attend activities of their choosing - for example, many people like to go swimming, pottery workshops, crafting, cinema or out for walks

**What we’re looking for..**
- Friendly, caring empathetic people who have a desire to work in social care and help people.
- Experience in a role such as Carer, Support Worker, or Care assistant would b great but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work flexibly over a rota - this will include every other weekend working
