Prepress Operator

Due to continued success and expansion of our online business, **DigitalPrinting.co.uk,** one of the UK and Ireland’s leading printing websites, we are looking for a new member for their Pre-Press Team.

This is a full time, permanent position based at Northside offices, Dargan Crescent, Belfast. The remuneration on this position will depend on experience.

**About the Role**

This is an essential role within the Prepress Team, you will have knowledge and experience with various creative platforms and provide technical support to Customers and Sales Team.

**Obligations and duties for Prepress Operator**

Ø Knowledge of Adobe CS - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat Pro.

Ø Prepare customers artwork for printing by setting artwork up in a prescribed manner

Ø Output to postscript & PDF from Apple Mac & PC Software packages: mainly Adobe Creative Suite to a number of different digital printing presses.

Ø Carry out work according to company procedures using in-house computerised management systems.

Ø Maintain correct documentation.

Ø Undertake all training and development activities as is required.

Ø Support external and internal sales team as required

Ø Maintain high levels of customer service and build good internal and external customer relationships.

Ø Maintain quality standards.

Ø Undertake such other duties as may be required commensurate with your position.

**Essential criteria for Prepress Operator**

Ø GCSE Maths, English and ICT at Grade C or above or equivalent

Ø 1+ years’ experience of producing Graphic Design to meet customer’s requirements.

Ø Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Ø Excellent verbal and written communication

**Desirable Criteria**

Ø A-level or 3rd Level Education in ICT/Computer Science,

Ø 1+ years’ experience as a Pre-Press operator or Graphic Designer (preferably within a digital printing environment, large and small format)

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
