We have a great opportunity for caring individuals to work with adults with learning disabilities in a residential home in Denby Dale, Huddersfield

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing vulnerable adults with the day-to-day care and support they need to lead fulfilling lives.

You will be encouraging residents to make choices about their care, how it is delivered, and what leisure and educational activities they want to participate in. You will provide high quality care and ensure all their immediate needs are met.

Working in a warm and homely environment your day-to-day duties will include

Assessing individual needs, contributing to risk assessments and support plans of the residents. Recording and maintaining accurate daily logs and updates to all records.

Supporting with day-to-day leisure activities and daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, trips out and attending appointments etc

Encouraging residents to keep in touch with family members and have an active social life.

Follow CQC Regulations and guidelines, policies and procedures.

Maintain good relationships with multidisciplinary teams.

**Shift patterns**:
We have 2 positions available

Day Support Worker 8am - 8pm
Waking Night Support Worker 9.30pm - 7.30am

Shift patterns are 3 long days per week which means you will have 4 days a week to yourself

**To be considered for this role you must be**
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults
- Ideally, be a car driver due to the location of the home
- Be willing to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by employer)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
