Within Rebus as a machinist the job role includes;
- Operate laser and waterjet within a busy production environment.
- You will work as part of our self autonomous teams planning your own daily tasks,
- Working from technical drawings and documentation
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
- Suggest and be part of our continuous improvement / best practice solutions.
- Producing quality components on time.
- Prioritize Health & Safety, ensure safe working practice

**Essential Criteria** **Ability to work from technical drawings and documentation ** Quality focused with attention to detail

- Strong communication skills
- Experience of hand held tools
- Have ‘Can do Ethos’ and positive problem solving ability
- Ability to complete paper work in precise manner
- Able to trouble shoot and solve problems

Desirable Criteria GCSE or equivalent (2 at Grade C) or within an Engineering or manufacturing Environment,
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Previous machine operating experience. Experience in machine operating desirable but not essential as training will be provided, have a good standard of written and communicative English.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, engineering, mechanics or coach building
- Current valid forklift license would be an advantage
- Interest in CNC programming is highly desirable
- **Hourly rate is dependable on experience**

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
