I have partnered with a manufacturing business based in Bristol who are looking for a project officer to help support a senior project manager on the military side of the business.

The military side of the business has seen rapid exponential growth and due to this work load it is essential for this person to come in and assist with the current projects and to help shape the division moving forward. This person will need to be highly organised to succeed in this role and have the drive and adaptability to work on a wide range of tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, serving as a historical record and a reference for customer requirements.
- Liaise with engineering and procurement to identify key actions.
- Attend project team meetings, take follow-up actions, and ensure project milestones are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Support service-maintenance contract activities and coordinate project visits and customer-facing activities.
- Provide troubleshooting on all delivered equipment, including short notice deployment.
- Compile required documentation for end users, conduct user training and demonstrations, and provide aftersales support.
- Track project delivery against budget and timelines.

Key Skills:

- Proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
- Methodical and logical approach.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, ideally NetSuite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Previous Project management experience.
- Experience within the Military is desired but not essential.
- Proactive with a flexible approach to a dynamic work environment.
- Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative.
- Communicate confidently and concisely, both orally and in writing, with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to 'roll up the sleeves' and assist the wider team when needed.
