The role of HR Advisor at Heat Exchange Group offers a real variety at pace experience, through a rewarding blend of autonomous working, HR project support and day-day HR advisory and administration activities.

Our team is fast-paced, diverse and energetic, working across two bases in the UK, in Yorkshire and Northumberland, although our internal and external Site Service teams travel and work internationally.

**About You**
- You enjoy a level of autonomy and are a self-starter with a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- You are highly organised and bring strong experience of managing and prioritising your own workload effectively.
- You have sound ER knowledge and keep up to date with HR trends, legislative changes and socio-economic news affecting employment relations.
- You can effectively and accurately assimilate and present data and trends to inform business decisions.
- You generate ideas and solutions and can confidently present these with the use of data to add credibility to your voice.
- You enjoy a hands-on environment and will play an active role in the day-day HR administration, advisory and support service.
- You are a fast and effective relationship builder across all levels and diversities.
- You offer enthusiasm and drive, with a keenness to be involved in an evolving agenda of business objectives.
- You have supported complex HR projects previously, e.g. change management initiatives.
- You have evident experience of fast-paced commercial organisations, and may be from a manufacturing, FMCG, automotive or retail background (this list is not limited).
- Your communication skills are a top-rated skill - interpersonal, written, listening and verbal.
- You are CIPD L5 qualified (or working towards/ or interested in working towards with future company sponsorship).
- You can demonstrate a passion for HR, with CPD and independent reading, and are truly wanting to develop further in your HR career.

**Main Duties**
- Develop engagement with the HRIS, leveraging metrics to identify challenges, and trends, and support on development of sustainable solutions.
- Use our core values as your guiding principles in all activities.
- Lead and own on recruitment campaigns, liaising internally and externally with stakeholders.
- Be a proactive and responsive contact point for HR internally, providing sound, commercial and creative advice.
- Participate in the organisation, planning and execution of HR projects.
- Manage the employment lifecycle from onboarding, through to offboarding.
- Support effective performance management and coach managers in improving confidence and capability in key areas of people management.
- Co-ordination and record keeping of HR activities and employee data files.
- Ensuring accuracy and pace in communication, collation, and distribution of HR correspondence.
- Designing and reviewing company policies.
- Remaining up to date with HR trends and employment legislation, informing and advising the business on changes and improvements.
- Provide advice and guidance on job design.
- Assisting the development of creative and engaging employee communications.
- Managing the electronic T&A system and collating and reviewing timesheets.

Salary - £28,000.00 - £34,000.00 P/A DOE (pro rata for part time hours)
