We are recruiting for a Customer Service Apprentice to join our team. An Advanced Apprenticeship is a job with an accompanying skills development programme designed by employers in the sector. It allows you to gain technical knowledge and real practicalexperience while being paid to do so. Along with functional and personal skills that are needed for your immediate job and future career you will learn through a mix of project-based learning in the workplace, formal off the job training, and the opportunityto practice and embed new skills in a real work context. This apprenticeship is expected to take 23 months to complete.

**Requirements**:
**Role related;**
- To work under supervision to learn office/administration skills including contact with tenants and customers, electronic diary management and scheduling, case load management and answering queries. In addition, responding to correspondence and updatingour systems accordingly.
- You will respond to tenant requests for information in person (when on our estates or visiting), on the phone and in writing and work to build excellent relationships with all our teams.
- You will help us to maintain our customer service targets and be flexible and adaptable to ensure this happens.
- You will engage in meetings, supervision, seminars and other events designed to improve communication and assist with your own development and that of your role.
- You will learn about our equality, diversity and inclusion strategy, including our aspirations to be innovative in this area and help us to deliver these.

**Study-related;**
- You will study towards the Advanced Apprenticeship - Customer Service Specialist (Level 3) standard, through West Suffolk College
- Actively participate in your own development plan under the supervision of your line manager and the training provider.
- Under guidance, you will manage your own project (to be defined but linked to your qualification and team) and look for opportunities to improve the service.
- You will learn and demonstrate compliance with key policies, including, but not limited to our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Safeguarding and GDPR/Data protection requirements.
- Undertake other duties compatible with your learning and development as required

**WORKING HOURS**

37 hours worked across Monday to Friday.

**ABOUT YOU**
- An enthusiastic learner with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- An awareness of what makes good customer service/experience
- Good use of IT systems
- Be familiar with our values and demonstrate examples of how you align with these
- Good time management
- An awareness of social housing and what it is is desirable but not essential
