Control Room Clerk

The Control room clerk will:

- Responsible for accurately reporting shift status information on a 2 hourly basis
- Ensure the warehouse operation is resourced sufficiently to achieve volume throughout and is inline with the operational budget.
- To lead planning with operations, agency and recruitment around specific peaks throughout the year
- Co-ordinate activities for leadership in terms of performance reviews.
- Ensure accuracy of resource against the volume throughout
- Collection of daily/weekly data to assist the historic trend analysis
- Manage daily KPIS
The control room clerk will get:

- £11.78 per hour (Paid weekly via BACS)
- £24,500 (Including £2000 shift allowance) When permanent
- Working hours 14:00 - 22:00 Monday to Friday
**Duties**:

- Supporting the planning and tracking teams to ensure smooth running of the operation
- Working in a time crucial environment
- Forwarding on paperwork to relevant teams in a timely fashion
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with enquiries
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to both internal and external customers at all times
- Monitoring and supporting support inbox including basic administrative work based on the needs of different users
Your Skills and Experiences:

- Have excellent organisational / Time Management skills
- Ability to work well as a team member
- Ability to work under pressure
- A knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is essential
- Ideally a knowledge of a transport, distribution or supply chain environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to use your own initiative
