**Are you based in the Rotherham area and have experience working with children with special needs? Protocol Education are currently looking Teaching assistants to work on a full time, long term basis. **
**The Role**:Working as a Teaching Assistant you will work at a SEND school providing support for students in order to ensure that they’re getting the best out of their education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of theclassroom. This role is 5 days a week and will run until the Summer.
**About the School**:The school caters to children with severe and complex needs and children with high levels of autism. The children attending the school are aged between 11 and 19.Their aim is to ensure that students make the best progressthey possibly can and for them to play a full and active part in the life of the school and in their communities.
You must be dedicated, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.
It is crucial that applicants have extra qualifications such as Moving and Handling, Team Teach or are fluent in Makaton.
