**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely load and deliver parcels to designated locations within a set timeframe.
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries, minimizing fuel consumption and travel time.
- Handle parcels with care, ensuring they are delivered in good condition.
- Use handheld devices to scan parcels, update delivery statuses, and capture proof of delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a polite and professional manner.
- Adhere to all DPD safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues or required repairs.
- Assist with sorting and loading parcels as needed at the distribution centre.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Ability to lift and carry parcels.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with delivery driving or courier services is an advantage, but not required.
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
