**Responsibilities**:

- Driving volumes and quality
- Involvement in Quality issues, ensuring low scrap rates
- Aiming for excellent housekeeping standards at all times
- Liaising and communicating with team members effectively
- Liaising with engineers, for example on breakdowns and technical issues, use the Pirana system to report defects and issues.
- Identifying issues on line to Team Leaders and Senior Team Leaders
- Ensuring changeovers run smoothly
- Ensuring stoppages are kept to a minimum
- Completion of documentation in a detailed and accurate manner
- Attendance of communication meetings
- Ensure that adequate and accurate feedback sheets on material usage are passed to the office daily. Therefore, helping to keep a tight control on stock levels and raw materials. Input data to Prodac systems including production quantities, quality, safety checks, material usage.
- Ensure that effective implementation of the company Health & Safety policy is maintained and that all legislation pertaining to safety, COSHH and environmental rulings are complied with.
- Ensure risk assessments and safe working are adhered to at all times.
- Undertake designated tasks as allocated by managers which may be in the production areas
