We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Cafe Team Member to assist in our busy Kitchen & Cafe

Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. The applicant must be competent to deliver food hygiene standards and quality food service in a busy working environment. The willingness to promote our café and develop the kitchen team is also essential. This role will involve working alone and as part of a team.

Duties include but are not limited to-- Ensure the prompt provision and efficient service of all meals and party requirements at the specified time
- Be able to prepare all menu items and have a full understanding of ingredients.
- To monitor quality of food and use staff and customer feedback to improve product
- To follow all kitchen procedures and policies. Including stock, wastage, temp checks etc
- Manage the quality and hygiene of the food cycle from preparation through to delivery
- To ensure food hygiene standards are observed.
- To ensure daily administration records are complete
- To ensure cleaning checklists are followed
- To ensure the Service, café floor and the surroundings are kept tidy and clean at all times
- Follow cleaning checklist
- To ensure that the table and accompaniments are left as clean and replenished
- To ensure that the visual presentation of the service counter and the seating areas are always of a high standard
- To keep stock usage, wastage, loss and breakages in the service area to a minimum level and to record accordingly
- Prepare and complete monthly stock takes when on shift
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by employer.

16+ hours per week, weekend work is essential for this role (Possibilities of more hours during busy periods).
