**The Role?**

We are currently seeking a** Sustainability Associate** to join our team at our London office. This is a permanent role offering an excellent career path within a forward-thinking and innovative consultancy.

You will work within a team of Sustainability Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and CAD Technicians, contributing to a broad range of projects across multiple sectors, including Commercial, Civic & Cultural, Healthcare, and Education.

You will have the technical knowledge to deliver Energy and Sustainability requirements for projects in London and throughout the UK. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to IN2’s growing reputation in sustainable building design.

**Your Experience?**
- Degree in Building Services Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartership.
- Expertise in Energy and Sustainability services, including:

- Energy Strategies & Sustainability Statements
- Detailed Thermal Modelling
- Part L Modelling & Peak Load Analysis
- TM54 & TM59 Modelling
- Assessment Methods such as BREEAM, WELL, Whole Life Carbon Analysis
- Strong proficiency in simulation tools, airflow modelling, and daylight/sunlight analysis.
- Experience in project delivery from concept stage to completion.
- Ability to present and communicate ideas effectively with clients, architects, and project managers.
- A passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers within a dynamic team environment.

**The Key Activities**
- Act as Project Engineer, delivering high-performance environmental design solutions.
- Develop project scope with the design team and clients, including budgeting and reporting.
- Lead the implementation of sustainable design strategies across projects.
- Oversee Resource Management and Planning to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Provide mentoring and technical support to junior engineering staff.
- Support the Management Team with business development and financial control activities.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to complementary services within the group, including:

- Wind & Microclimate Analysis
- Daylight & Sunlight Modelling
- Passive House Design
- Soft Landings & Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE)
- Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Optimisation
- Building Regulations Modelling
