ABM Electrical Distributors Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a Trade Counter Sales Role. This position is perfect for someone who has previous trade sales experience and a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn about electrical wholesale and distribution.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Provide excellent customer service to tradespeople and contractors at our busy trade counter
- Build strong relationships with customers
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide information on our extensive range of electrical products
- Process sales transactions using our computerised system
- Maintain a clean and organised counter area and warehouse
- Replenish stock and ensure products are correctly priced and displayed
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management
- Develop knowledge of our product range
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed

**Requirements**:

- Trade counter experience - minimum 1 year. Electrical counter experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong desire to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent math and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including half day Saturdays (3 a month)
