Trauma Trainer

Red Snapper Recruiting are currently looking for an experienced Trauma Informed Trainer to work on a full-time contract with a local Police Force in Preston, Lancashire

**Job Purpose**:
To manage and deliver the training for Trauma Informed Policing and Trauma Informed Lancashire

**Main responsibilities**:

- To identify the core training needs in relation to Trauma Informed Policing.
- Develop, deliver and maintain lesson plans, course learning descriptors and relevant course material
- To provide guidance and support to staff in identifying learning needs and advise thereon.
- To advise and support in the preparation and production of the annual training plan.
- To produce/analyse and communicate management information and statistical data.
- To evaluate training courses when appropriate
- To provide a customer focussed environment conducive to learners needs
- To capture, collate and maintain an overview of the Trauma Informed Lancashire Programme.
- To carry out any other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities and grading of the post.

**Essential Knowledge and Experience**:

- Comprehensive experience / knowledge of the Trauma Informed Lancashire Programme
- Experience of delivering presentations to a varied audience.
- Knowledge of methods of assessment, performance monitoring, setting objectives and creating structured lesson plans.
- Experience of maintaining and managing confidential records, paying particular attention to detail and ensuring the accurate recording of data and the confidentiality of the information.
- Experience of working to deadlines and tight timescales, within a busy environment.
