As part of this, we’re looking for a talented individual to join our Psychological Coaching team on a permanent basis.

As a Psychological Coach, you’ll support members by delivering psychological coaching; enabling each to flourish and become the best version of themselves. At AXA we’re adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. In this job, you can be 100% home-based if preferred with occasional onsite delivery and travel for team meetings.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Accept referrals via agreed protocols and deliver member-centered assessments; including appropriate and accurate risk assessments and psychological coaching sessions with a view to improve member mental wellbeing, resilience and achievement; enabling them to flourish.
- Collect and report on outcome data gained within assessments and psychological coaching sessions; including keeping good quality and coherent written coaching activity records in line with protocols and use these in decision making.
- Creating and delivering a variety of member-friendly mental wellbeing focussed content solutions such as written articles and podcasts; psychoeducation and awareness group deliveries to numerous member populations; including but not exclusive to large corporate organisations.
- Assess and integrate difficulties surrounding work, employment, management or other systems into the overall coaching process or within content creation and delivery.
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to the service where appropriate.
- Conduct and participate in self and peer audits on a regular basis, in line with agreed protocols.
- Engage with Continued Professional Development, including but not limited to supervision, action learning sets and ad-hoc support session.

**Qualifications**:

- Appropriate psychological coaching qualification/s from a recognised provider and Psychological / therapeutic treatment qualification/s is essential; such as Counsellor, Psychotherapist, CBT therapist, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, Graduate Mental Health Worker.
- Experience of risk assessment is essential; including but not limited to risk to self / other, organisational risk, safeguarding, ethical dilemmas in psychological coaching.
- Experience of working with a range of diverse populations in both a coaching and therapeutic space and an ability to work within an inclusive values base which promotes prevention and maintenance of optimal mental wellbeing and recognises all aspects of diversity essential.
- Informed by an evidence-based approach in coaching and additional support functions such as content creation, webinar/seminar delivery, which include but are not limited to Cognitive-Behavioural, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology.
- Evidence of having worked in a service with a high caseload where agreed targets were in place to demonstrate effective clinical / coaching outcomes and an ability to work independently, flexibly, reliably and consistently to manage changing demands.
- Essential high standard in verbal and written communication skills to enable suitable relationship building and collaboration with members, external organisations and stakeholders.
- Advanced listening / customer interaction skills, pragmatic approach to problem solving, enthusiastic approach to work and excellent presentation and group facilitation skills.
- Accreditation or membership with the BPS, BACP, BABCP, AoC, ICF, EMCC or other relevant regulatory body would be advantageous.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
