**Job Summary**

Flanagan Flooring Distributors (Scotland) Ltd are currently looking to recruit a new member of our warehouse team. The successful applicant will be required to perform duties such as picking and packing stock, loading and unloading goods, and general warehouse labouring. Due to the nature of the business, the lifting of awkward and heavy flooring can be part of everyday duties. A forklift licence and counterbalance experience would be beneficial, but not essential.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Preparing flooring for dispatch
- Assisting other employees with their duties to keep to tight deadlines
- Ensuring the warehouse is operating efficiently and in a safe manner
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment
- Loading and packing flooring onto the company's delivery vehicles in a safe and correct manner to avoid damages in transit
- Needs to be vigilant, sincere and a responsible person
- Needs to have a professional attitude to work
- Should have good team spirit and work in perfect coordination with colleagues
- Previous manual handling experience
- An awareness of health and safety
- Excellent time keeping
**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous warehouse experience
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Physically fit and prepared to undertake manual handling of heavy goods
- Forklift licence with counterbalance experience
