This is a hybrid role with a combination of home working and office working in our Farnborough office, with an element of travel within the UK and the region (approx 10-20%).

This is a great opportunity to play a strong support and governance role in Siemens UK’s largest business.

**What are my responsibilities?**
- Coordinate the timely and practice-oriented implementation of centrally rolled out IFRS regulations. Provide local training if needed.
- Perform regular balance sheet reviews of the Mobility businesses in the region.
- Build good working relationships with the Mobility businesses and Heads of Accounting across the region, and act as a trusted service provider by understanding the business needs and complexities.
- Local UK statutory accounting advice and support/preparation if needed.
- From time to time, it may be a requirement to provide ad-hoc support to other Siemens entities in the region to support the Head of Accounting.
- Drive the implementation of new digital tools for more efficient interpretation and communication of financial data.

**What do I need to qualify for the role?**
- Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of SAP, data analytics tools and other digital technologies.
- Highly motivated, dynamic, self-driven personality enjoying working with a multitude of stakeholders throughout the business.
- Used to working in a continuous changing environment, intercultural sensitivity, strong ownership approach, excellent communication skills.

The Siemens Mobility UK business has approximately 3,500 employees, focuses on sustainable technologies for metropolitan areas and their infrastructures.
