**About PUSH**
PUSH is a small, forward-thinking Perth-based charity that provides employability training and work experience for young people aged 16-24 who face barriers to employment. Our reuse shop and warehouse combine environmental sustainability with social impact — helping young people gain skills, confidence, and qualifications while reducing waste.
We’re now looking for a part-time **HR Support Worker** to join our friendly team. This new role will strengthen our internal systems and help ensure we remain compliant, organised, and people-focused as we continue to grow.
**The Role**
You’ll provide HR and administrative support across a range of key areas — from organising mandatory training to recording annual leave, updating policies, and maintaining confidential staff records. The role would suit someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and variety, and who’s happy to take initiative in a small, supportive charity environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Organise and record staff training (mandatory and online)
- Maintain training logs and send reminders for renewals
- Record and manage annual leave, sick leave, and absences
- Keep HR and employment law policies up to date
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records (digital and paper)
- Support with recruitment and onboarding administration
- Assist with policy reviews, HR reporting, and data protection compliance
- Provide general HR support to the management team
**About You**
We’re looking for someone who’s confident handling HR processes and enjoys keeping things organised. You’ll be proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
**Essential**:
- Experience in an HR or HR administrative role
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Competent with Microsoft Office and HR systems
**Desirable**:
- CIPD qualification (or studying towards one)
- Experience working in a small organisation or charity
- Familiarity with GDPR and data protection in HR
**What We Offer**
- £19.00 per hour (paid monthly)
- 2 days per week (approx. 14-16 hours), flexible schedule by agreement
- Pro rata annual leave entitlement
- Pension (auto-enrolment)
- Friendly, inclusive, and supportive working environment
- Training and development opportunities
**How to Apply**
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £13,832.00 per year
Expected hours: 14 per week
Work Location: In person
