3GS will train you to become an effective Environmental Enforcement Officer who will support our local council to tackle environmental crime and antisocial behaviour.

**What do we do?**
As an Environmental Enforcement Officer you will be responsible for:
- Patrolling the local area - please note this position requires you to be on your feet and walking for the majority of the shift.
- Issuing fixed penalty notices to offenders
- Defusing difficult situations using conflict resolution
- Operating and uploading body camera footage
- Preparing and submitting witness statements
- Attending court to give evidence
**Who are we looking for?**
You will be self-motivated and committed to excellence. Ideally you will:
- Have experience in a customer facing role, dealing with difficult situations and customers
- Be an effective communicator both verbal and written
- Be able to stay calm in difficult situations
- Have a professional approach to your work and act with integrity at all times
- Be resilient. This job requires a you to deal with difficult situations head on whilst remaining composed
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
**Salary**: £9.90 per hour
