Spark44 is a new type of agency, established as a joint venture with Jaguar Land Rover globally.
We’re not an in house department; we’re a separate business with a specialism in automotive and luxury goods. We are Demand Creation Partners. That means we work across all platforms with a clear customer journey strategy. From the point of Intrigue, through an inform stage, close of sale and delivery of the on-going relationship.
- As part of the Technical Team that is responsible for supporting the CMS (Content Management System) and its content, this is a role where you will be expected to manage your time effectively between offices. Working in an Agile team, you will heavily support the content creation and testing with development 3rd parties.
- The Agile Author’ is responsible for:
- 1. Heavily supporting and inputting into Development cycle sprints
- 2. Communicating an effective solution to different knowledge levels in a professional and timely manner (developers, authors, clients)
- 3. Confidently creating and adhering to your own work briefs
- 4. Updating Help Desk Wiki and User Guides and training all users where new functionality has been introduced
- 5. Attending meetings and being the voice of Spark44 when decisions are being made that could impact time scales, or escalating where appropriate
- 6. Liaising with RWS to assist with and advising on schema creation and updates with the authoring team’s best interests in mind
- 7. Authoring test content in the QA environment to support development tasks through Agile cycles
- 8. Testing of new functionality in the QA and Preview environments, across all platforms
- 9. Being the technical experts on DX, blueprinting and authoring
- 10. Actioning appropriate solutions and supporting the wider Technical team when required including organising additional training sessions with users for new or enhanced functionality- Record incidents during Agile sprint within the JLR Help Desk task management system (JIRA)-
- Access and categorise incidents according to urgency and impact model and escalate where necessary-
- Assign incidents to other support teams as required-
- Keep users informed on status and progress of incidents-
- Authoring and testing new functionality on all environments-
- Authoring and testing bug fixes on all environments when required-
- Train the authoring team on new/enhanced functionality-
- Provide ongoing support to the authoring team-
- Engage with external parties (ITG, RWS, JLR IT)-
- Troubleshooting DX issues***
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year experience with a good technical working knowledge of RWS Tridion-
- Experience of working in a high pressure environment-
- Proven track record in driving through an issue to resolution and escalating issues where appropriate-
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus-
- Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships in a team based environment, while also being able to work independently-
- Strong analytical skills-
- Meticulous attention to detail-
- High level of self motivation-
