School Chef

Our client, a school based near Woking, Surrey is currently looking to recruit a chef to work within their kitchen.
They are looking for a committed, creative chef to be responsible for coordinating the catering arrangements for children and staff at this school. You will be responsible for all aspects of running the school kitchen and be required to provide high qualityvaried menus for the children, staff and visitors to quality, time, and budget requirements. You will be supported by the Kitchen Assistant to ensure food hygiene requirements are adhered to.

*Knowledge of environment health record keeping requirements
*Experience of preparing meals for those with special dietary needs
*The ability to work independently

Hours:
- Monday to Friday position, Term Time plus two weeks (41 weeks per year)
- Contracted hours are 40 per week, shift pattern negotiable however they need to cover 8.30am - 2.30pm.
