**Permanent Position**
**Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:15pm**

**Poole**
**Our client is a large and growing manufacturer of mechanical Oil & Gas components. They are looking for a maintenance technician to join their team and assist with the maintenance and repair of the manufacturing machinery on site.**
**Maintenance Technician**
- To carry out planned preventative repairs and servicing on all manufacturing equipment both mechanical and electrical
- Providing, where required, 1st line fault finding on equipment and initiating reactive repairs
- Compliance with all H&S regulations, ensuring all machinery is compliant and a safe work environment is maintained
- Prioritise and organise work schedules, supervision of all sub-contractors on site making sure plant and equipment up time is maximised
- Ensure tasks are completed within given timescales, right first time, and all documents and systems are maintained
- Identify opportunities for improvements with regards to health & safety, and implement lean methods to improve cost reduction
**Maintenance Technician**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications;**:
- Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in an electrical discipline such as electrical installation or electro-technical installations
- Applied mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial engineering environment
- Excellent communication and decision making skills, with the ability to follow specific instructions and procedures
**Maintenance Technician**
**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications;**:
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification
- 5+ years experience in a similar position within manufacturing would be desirable but not essential
