We have an exciting opportunity for a **Leakage Team Leader** to join the Water Distribution at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. **Could this be you?** **What is the purpose of different Team Leader roles?** **CSL - Customer Side Leakage** Passionate about customer service and a "people-first attitude". The Customer-Side Leakage Team Leader will manage and drive the performance of a team of Customer Side Leakage specialists to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of customer owned leakage performance in relation to water distribution assets. This role is primarily focused on private side water distribution assets. Working with Leakage Teams, Service Partners, Technical Teams, and other key stakeholders (internal & external) to support the review, development, implementation, and monitoring of new ways of working to ensure that maximum efficiency is driven in the leakage find and fix process for customer side leakage. **Technology Deployment** The Technology Team Leader will manage and drive the performance of the team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the technology deployment programme. Work with the Direct Line Manager and team to review, develop, implement, and monitor new ways of working and new technologies to ensure that maximum efficiency is driven in the deployment of leakage detection technology. This activity has a direct impact on reducing leak life and driving down leakage to achieve our challenging AMP8 targets. Ensuring the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of all Team members is prioritised and promotes the training and development of the team through progression in role and regular performance discussions. **What we do**: Everyone has an idea of what a water company does. Water Distribution are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. **Where you fit in**: As our **Leakage Team Leader** you will - Performance manages a field-based team to ensure they are working optimally and that leakage targets are being met. - Deliver leakage reductions in DMA's to meet leakage performance targets - Work with Data Analysts to deliver accurate and efficient leakage detection. - Within the Team, drive excellent standards and performance in health and safety, risk management and control of work and ensure compliance with the YW Safety Policy - Support with the upskilling of the Team through progression planning and technical development - Work closely with key stakeholders including, Engineers, Data Analysist and Leakage Analysts to effectively identify where to target resources for optimal leakage reduction. - Have clear understanding of the financial implications, complexities and 3rd party consideration of all leakage related repair work. - Build a strong relationship with our Service Partners, Field Operations and Technical Support Engineers to ensure the safe and effective completion of repair and enabling work on the water distribution network. - Assess and implement new technologies into standard bu
