**Give society's most marginalised young people a second chance**
We work with young people who have complex and often multiple barriers to education. Whether it be their SEN, SEMH needs, challenging home lives or vulnerability to being exploited by gangs - we've seen it all.
The young people we're supporting have either been excluded from school or they're simply unable to access mainstream classes. Our inspirational Education Specialists have the knowledge, skills and experience to give them hope, and this is your chance to join the team.
So... what are you waiting for?
**The role**
- We'll match you to young people based on location, availability and your experience
- You'll work 1:1 with young people in their homes or relaxed public places such as libraries
- These young people have SEN or SEMH needs, and they're often vulnerable to exploitation
- You'll plan and deliver a bespoke learning programme across a 6 to 12 week period
- Depending on your availability, work from 2 to 5 days per week
**The benefits**
- Earn £15 to £30 per hour with an additional £10 for planning & reporting
- There's a resource allowance of up to £15 per session
- Travel is subsidised
- We offer accredited and nationally recognised behaviour de-escalation training
- Dedicated support from a line manager
**What's required?**
- You'll need to have worked with young people who have SEN for at least a year
- Experience of planning and delivering Maths & English Functional Skills
- The ability to positively respond to and de-escalate challenging behaviours
- The creativity to plan and deliver engaging sessions
- Unwavering commitment to Safeguarding
