Walker Precision Engineering provide a complete design and manufacture service to the aerospace and defence sector from 3 sites across the UK and Europe. Our Glasgow team are currently partnering with key clients on exciting NPI activity, which has led to the need to grow and strengthen our CNC Manufacturing teams.

We are keen to hear from experienced Setters/ Millers who are looking for a different opportunity, working on new and developing products within a growing business. Key responsibilities involve:

- read and understand engineering drawings
- program and set machines for various jobs using fanuc controls
- follow planning data packs to guarantee settings
- Produce required components to required standard and on time to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to quality & work in progress

All positions are offered on a rotating shift pattern (early, back, nights: Monday to Friday) with an attractive shift premium payable.

Applications welcome from Time-Served Machinists with previous experience working to high quality standards on precision components. Matsura 5 axis machine experience would be beneficial.

**Salary**: £16.43-£21.85 per hour
