The Nursery I am recruiting for are looking for a bubbly and enthusiast Nursery Practitioner to join a growing nursery in Smethwick. They are looking to recruit room leaders and nursery practitioners as new limited spaces have arisen.
This Nursery does its best to make the staff and children feel at home as soon as they enter the front door. You will be joining an existing team of childcare professionals working in a fun environment, working with children ages 0-5 years.
This role will be working a shift pattern flexible between 7:30-18:00, Monday to Friday.
The ideal person will
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Hold a level of pride in themselves and their work
- Be able to work from their initiative
- Recognised Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Childcare/Early Years to be classed in EYFS staff to child ratios
- Previous experience of working with children aged between 0 - 5 years old
- Excellent knowledge of development of children aged between 0 -5 years old
- Good insight into the needs of young children
- Good understanding of the EYFS Curriculum
- Good understanding and hold knowledge of play based approaches in children's learning reliable, flexible and friendly
Key Responsibilities:

- To promote a fun, high-quality environment for children aged from
babies to pre-school.
- They ensure that the Welfare and Learning development requirements
are always met.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for health and safety throughout
the nursery.
- Ensure the general cleanliness of the children at all times.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures relating
to the nursery.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
