**Job Summary**:
The Bradford North Methodist Circuit are seeking a part time Circuit Safeguarding Officer to lead on the provision of a professional and effective safeguarding service across the circuit.

The Bradford North Methodist Circuit is committed to safeguarding as an integral part of its life and ministry. This is an opportunity to be part of the Circuit’s response to safeguarding and enhancing the churches of the circuit as safe spaces for all.

The ideal applicant will be a knowledgeable and experienced safeguarding enthusiast with a passion for maintaining safe spaces within our churches and associated activities.

This is a new post and the person appointed will administer and lead on the delivery of all aspects of safeguarding policy, practice, and record keeping.

Your knowledge of safeguarding policy and procedure will be essential as you will work closely with the Circuit leaders, Church Safeguarding Officers and the District Safeguarding Officer. Recent experience in a safeguarding role will be important as you will deliver training, upgrade and maintain confidential records, and enable our churches to deliver a high standard of safeguarding. You will work flexibly, both in the delivery of your working hours and the location of your work.

- **Contract**:Permanent Rate of pay: £16.00 per hour with enrolment in the Circuit’s workplace pension scheme.
- **Location**:Based at the Circuit Office, Baildon Methodist Church, Newton Way, Baildon, BD17 5NH and your home address.
