Charity People is delighted to be working with this leading mental health charity to find a key new leader for the team. Your task will be to help oversee and manage their improvement program to improve efficiency in income processing. You will be part ofthe Data and CRM team and you will be responsible for empowering the charity to be data & insight driven; amplifying the collective impact of the organisation.
You will collaboratively improve processes related to income processing and work across teams and with numerous stakeholders. This programme aims to improve data quality and accuracy, and reduce inefficient and lengthy processes. You will be one of the 3key leaders in this change and analysis phase to guide the project and ensure processes, mapping, deadlines, data analysis are all on track. You will need a good understanding of charity income processing and/or data or fundraising operations.
This is a 15 month contract initially with a strong likelihood to go permanent with development work to continue long into the future.
**Key Responsibilities** 1. Manage process improvement projects, including scoping, planning, delivery and evaluation of improvements made.
3. Take an active role in identifying problems with current systems and ways of working, systematically locating root causes, and using design thinking to contribute ideas for solutions.
4. Support with the testing and implementation of changes, maintaining critical awareness of the broader impacts of change. Support with testing new processes and rolling out to teams.
5. Work as part of an agile project team, supporting and taking the lead where necessary to deliver process improvement workshops. Map processes, document ways of working and new processes.
6. Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to deliver cross-organisational project objectives, within agreed timelines.
7. Engage, manage and influence key stakeholders.
8. Collate, synthesise and analyse qualitative and quantitative data, drawing conclusions to inform the delivery of process improvements as required.
9. Deliver on project targets.
10. Deliver timely and relevant performance reports, sharing insight about progress, challenges and support required with internal stakeholders.
11. Build a good working relationship with the Income & Operations team to fully understand the charity's coding and income processes, ways of working, challenges and support the rollout of new solutions.
12. Build an understanding of systems used for financial processing, their functions and their tools.
13. Income Processing: Build an understanding of the charity's processes for month-end, reconciliation and integration of data and finance systems.
14. Impact Assessment: Develop measures and metrics to analyse the impact of each process and what the results aim to deliver, to inform strategic prioritisation and decision making.
**Experience**
- Experience of managing a project from start to finish, achieving the desired outcome.
- Experience of planning and delivering workshops.
- Experience of process mapping.
- Significant experience of managing and prioritising conflicting priorities.
- Experience of developing progress reports.
- Understanding of Customer Relationship Management databases.
