**Salary**:£22,000 - £24,000 per annum
**Location**:Head Office - Skelmersdale
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Contracted Hours**: 42.5 hours per week
**Working Pattern**:Any 5/7 but typically Monday to Friday
**Holiday entitlement**: 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays

**Job Purpose/Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Liaison with hauliers on late or not delivered outbound loads.
- Daily communication with the retailers, transport department, couriers and clients.
- Customer services for all the clients on site.
- Support in compiling weekly data for invoices and KPIs to client.
- Stock and order investigations.
- Support administration of Returns and the attached relevant paperwork trail.
- POD Investigations.
- Support the Customer Services Lead in the day to day operational needs of the Customer Services Team.
- Communicate effectively with all departments on site

**Business Knowledge / Experience**
- Previous experience within a Customer Services Administration capacity within a Transport/Pallet Network background
- Ideally, familiar with transport software systems (training provided)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage a fast paced and busy workload, prioritizing key tasks, objectives and projects
- Confident and comfortable contributing key suggestions of optimisation and improvement to the business
- IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
- Promote good practice
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, site rules and report any safety concerns

**Experience**:

- previous Customer Services Administration: 1 year (required)
- Warehousing or Transport knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehouse or Transport systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel): 1 year (preferred)
