**About the Company-** **C4S Search are currently working with a leading supplier of fresh food brands to major retailers and consumers, who are looking to appoint a Maintenance Fitter.** **About the Role-** - Carries out routine and planned preventative maintenance including: - Following an agreed maintenance plan. - Liaison with production staff to ensure equipment availability. - Ensuring minimum breakdowns and down time. - Regular checks of machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation - Adjusting and calibrating machinery and weighing & measuring equipment to meet process specifications and quality system requirements. - Checking all guards and isolators are in place and safe working practices are maintained. - Keeping records of inspections and maintenance. - Attends breakdown repairs as and when required. - Provides emergency cover for breakdowns. - Gives a daily verbal report regarding current progress with maintenance, spares requirements, etc. - Undertakes the Daily Boiler Safety Inspection. - Ensures a high level of housekeeping in the area of work and keeps the workshop clean and tidy. - Repair of buildings on site as required e.g. proofing against rodents or wild birds. - Attends other Mill locations for work as and when requested. - Upholds quality and adhering to quality systems including: - Actively reporting all quality deviations and assist in corrective action if required. **About You-** To be successful within this role, you will have skills and experience with: - Some "hands-on" experience in animal feed production (desirable) - Good organisational skills are essential as is the ability to work varying hours and provide emergency cover. - Full Driving Licence. **About the benefits-** - Work life balance e.g. Flexible Working Policies, Part time Opportunities - Giving back e.g. Grocery Aid Partnership, Charity Matching, Charity Fundraising Events - Recognition e.g. Team Events & Celebrations, Recognition Schemes - Discounts If this sounds like it could be of interest, please send your C.V through to C4S Search for consideration.
