We are seeking a progressive and versatile Associate in Geo-Environmental Engineering to join our expanding team in the Manchester office. You will be a key ‘work winner’ and a respected land quality specialist.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Project Manager for important projects in the North of the UK and support to our Energy Sector Key Client Managers and Projects
- Overseeing and assuring Geo-Environmental inputs to the planning, investigation, design, construction and post construction monitoring aspects of projects
- Developing and nurturing our client base
- Tendering - leading on commercial and technical aspects
- Direct line management of Manchester based Geo-Environmental staff, their performance and progression.

You will need to combine ambition, insight and confidence with a commitment to giving clients the very best solutions. The following skill sets are required:
**Essential Leadership Skills**
- Proven Project Management capability including delivery against programme and budget whilst protecting Tetra Techs interests
- A proven track record in winning work and building teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in verbal and written English
- Excellent planning & organisational skills
- A high level of motivation to deliver excellent quality to programme
- Commitment to professional and personal development of self and others

**Essential Technical Skills and Qualifications**
- Degree in Geology or a related earth engineering or environmental discipline
- Chartered status with a relevant professional institution or society
- Expert knowledge of Land Quality including complex Conceptual Site Models, investigation techniques and remediation
