We are looking for a confident, customer-focused **Bakery Host** to manage guest flow into the bakery, ensuring everyone’s safety and comfort while waiting in the queue. You’ll play a key role in creating a smooth, positive experience from the moment visitors arrive. As the first point of contact for guests, you’ll provide information, maintain order, and assist with crowd control during busy periods.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the queue effectively to ensure pedestrians can pass the bakery safely.
- Provide clear directions, information, and assistance to guests.
- Monitor queue behaviour to maintain safety and comfort for all visitors.
- Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations.
- Liaise with team members to ensure accurate information is shared with customers.
- Support the bakery’s safety and customer service standards.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to guest enquiries or complaints.
- Manage crowds effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere.

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or crowd management role strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, friendly, and approachable personality.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and thrive in busy environments.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.

**Hours & Pay**
- Approx 30 hours over 5 days.
- Early start, early finish.
- Operating days Tuesday-Sunday.
- Weekend availability essential.
- £13.80ph.

Pay: £13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 32 per week
