Moor Farm Cottage is recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers now We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and you will be required to be alert and observant at all times. In addition to regular checks on the children and young people you will be assigned additional tasks.

Moorfield House and Moor Farm Cottage are semi rural Children’s Home on the outskirts of Temple Normanton village and Calow near Chesterfield. We care for up to 9 young people aged 9-16+ years exhibiting Behavioural, Emotional, and Social Difficulties the Young People are split across 2 homes.

Moor Farm Cottage/Moorfield House tries to replicate a caring, family environment that provides the opportunities that will hopefully one day help our young people to lead positive and rewarding lives. we are looking for dedicated, caring and passionate people to support our Young People.

Experience isn’t always essential but there are a few characteristics you will need to be successful in this role:
**Resilience**We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.

**Communication**Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.

**Organisation**You’ll need to be confident and organised in updating care plans and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.

**Caring**Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.

**Attentive**No young person / situation is the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important and alert within any situation.
