Carpenter/general Builder

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Construct and assemble structures using a variety of materials such as wood, brick, and concrete.
- Perform tasks involved in Extensions and loft conversions such as insulating, timber work, ground works, demolition and overall general building.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Execute plumbing and electrical tasks as needed to ensure functionality of built structures.
- Fabricate components according to specifications and project requirements.
- Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to transport materials or assist in construction activities.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to achieve project goals efficiently.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in building or construction roles is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is required.
- Familiarity with painting techniques, joinery, masonry, plumbing, and electrical work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- A commitment to safety practices on-site is paramount.

Pay: £2,000.00-£4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
