**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Electrical and Mechanical Team Member to join our team to support our mission in providing a safe and dependable tram service. Undertaking work to MML Mechanical and Electrical Infrastructure, ensuring it is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, compliant with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring inspection and maintenance tasks are being completed in a timely manner and in compliance with the planned maintenance schedule.
- Ensuring the work tasks follow the correct procedures.
- Report all work activities and faults to the E & M Team Leader.
- Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner and/or update the Asset Management Information System.
- You’ll maintain and repair all electric / electronic equipment at West Midland Metro substation and all communication equipment to MML stops.
- All maintenance and repairs to West Midland Metro stops and communication equipment.
- You’ll oversee contractors carrying out planned work at depot and offices in Wednesbury.
- Assisting in project working and design of installations.
- Assisting with the development and continued improvement of the Asset Management Information System

**What you’ll need**:

- You’ll hold Electrical and Mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience.
- IOSH qualification would be advantageous.
- Experience of working within the light rail industry or similar maintenance environment.
- Strong working knowledge of rail or light rail infrastructure or similar complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Good working knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.
- Experience of using computer based diagnostic equipment.
