Sewing Machinist

**Job Overview**
**IMMEDIATE START**

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Sewing Machinist to join our small team. You will be required to sew vertical and roller blinds and liase with the workshop manager to see what needs done each day. Your work will be vital in ensuring the efficient production of our products.

Weekly setup:

- 3 days a week (which 3 days can be discussed during the interview process)
- 12 hours minimum weekly, rising when busy.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate sewing machines with precision and care.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with workshop manager to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process, seeking assistance when necessary.
- Document production data accurately for quality control purposes.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator for a business is desirable.
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 15 per week
