I am hiring for my Government client who is currently in need of multiple DevOps Engineers focused in AWS. Their current project is the largest of all AWS activities in Europe.

Duration: at least 6 months (12 month expected)

Public Sector

IR35: Inside

Rate: Up to £800 per day

**DevOps Role Requirements**

The personal traits we are looking for are:

- Passion for technology
- Showing initiative
- Self-learning
- Being a team player, i.e. take ownership of contributing to the overall team capability and knowledge

Must have:

- Be SC Clearable

Requirements centring around base technology:

- AWS
- Linux administration
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Hashicorp stack (Terraform, Packer, Consul, Vault, etc)
- Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)

**Skills**:

- Working within an agile context with the use of CI/CD
- Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
- Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
- The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
- The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.

Nice to have technologies and experience:

- Dynatrace
- Nginx
- Kafka
- IPv4 Networking
- Software engineering (C/C++/Java/Python/Go/Rust/Node)
- Test automation
- Relational and non-relation data technologies
