**Position**: Part time Temporary Court Usher
**Contract**: 3 months with the possibility of extending
**Working Hours**: 9.30-4.30 2 days per week
**Hourly Rate**: £11.44

We are currently seeking an organised, motivated Court Usher to be based in Chester. Training will be provided for the successful applicant. Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Collecting and delivering files and bundles to the judiciary and clerks ensuring they have the necessary papers
- Providing support to colleagues & judiciary outside of court / hearing times
- Navigating court hearings via video link, on-site and remotely
- Preparing rooms for hearings, tribunals, trials, meetings and clearing the court / hearing room down at the end of the day etc.
- Arranging and supporting court hearings
- Assisting the general public when attending hearings.
- General administrative duties including filing, printing and data entry
- Data input, typing, post incoming and outgoing, filing, general office duties.

**Requirements**:

- Strong customer service skills and confident dealing with the general public
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
