Production Trainer

**The Role - Production Trainer**

Fresh People are currently recruiting for a Production Trainer for a Fresh Produce operation based around Sittingbourne in Kent over multiple sites so must be able to drive. You will be required to help deliver our clients training strategy across the production operations providing training and on-the-job support for the business and its operation.

**The Person**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Plan training in a timely manner to ensure priority deadlines are met
- Gain knowledge and understanding of the equipment in the pack house to enable training delivery
- Deliver training to employees and agency workers in matters relating to product quality, food safety, legality and health and safety
- Train employees on Manual Handling awareness and tasks and assess competency within a set time frame.
- Assist with assessing competence and raise any concerns with the relevant supervisor/manager
- To monitor adherence to processes and procedures and provide re-training or escalate to management as required
- Ensure any refresher training is delivered in a timely manner and against training plan
- Assist with production of training KPIs
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other necessary training material
- Maintain training records and training system
- Ensure all training design and delivery is compliant with any relevant technical and safety standards
- Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOW’s and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
- Carry out inductions for new starters
- Provide support in absence of Training Manager

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
