**IFRS Reporting Accountant, 6-month contract.**

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the leading insurance providers in the UK as a Finance Manager supporting the delivery of IFRS and Solvency II reporting.

The role will be part of their hybrid working model, however within this position they're very flexible for mainly remote working - the key offices are London and York.

Engagement must be via an umbrella company.

**What will my role involve?**
- Internal finance reporting and production of external group financial reports.
- Understand and interpret large amounts of data and narrative and summarise it into succinct, meaningful, and insightful commentary.
- Support the delivery of IFRS and Solvency II group financial reporting while ensuring accuracy, adherence to deadlines, technical and business relevance.
- The primary Group Finance point of contact for certain markets, covering all associated financial matters in these areas.
- Market lead for the Group's general insurance markets, providing support to those markets while contributing to the Group consolidation process and producing analysis to support the quality of the accounts.
- Be a key contact and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the Group.

**What are we looking for?**
- Qualified accountant with demonstrable post qualification experience (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
- Strong financial/regulatory reporting and accounting skills with experience within the insurance sector.
- Excellent analytical review skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate across all levels and across different geographies.
